I give My One True Love my COMPANIONSHIP. This might seem like a strange gift to you since we are already married and I am already your companion and we already spend as much time as possible together, but let me explain a little.
If there is ever a time when you feel nervous, embarassed, shy, scared, or in any way unsure of yourself or any situation you might be in just look around. I'll be right by your side and if I am not right next to you just give me a call and I'll be there as soon as I can. While you wait for me to be by your side just know that I am already with you. You consume my thoughts! I think about you and pray for you and talk to you all day, whether you can hear me or not. So while I am on my way to be with you just talk to me in your mind, I'm sure I'll have something very whitty to say. There is more to this gift though.
Do you remember a couple months ago when we were wondering if we were still in the "honeymoon" phase? We decided we were. My promise to you as part of this gift is that we will continue on as "honeymooners" from now till the end of time...and then a little longer!
There will NEVER be a time when I am not rushing home to see your cute face! I will never need a boys night out, and when I do have to leave your side I will always rush back to give you a great big kiss. I need to be with you! I need to have you by my side! I will always try to be romantic even though I am not very good at it.
Just know that my heart will never stop skipping a beat when I hear your voice for the first time each morning! I wil always get a smile on my face the second I see your cute face.
You are my life and my love. You are my forever "honeymooner!" Nothing can change that, and even if forces try to get us away from that stage I won't let it happen!!! This is what gift of my compaionship means.
